P-51B Mustang - Tamiya

The Tamiya P-51 kits have been the benchmark for many years until Eduard released their P-51 family. The build is simple and straight-forward, but lacks some accuracy in the areas of the cockpit and the wheel wells. Aside of these neglectable flaws, the kit is a joy to build and widely available at reasonable prices. Other than the addition of PE seat belts and an aftermarket decal sheet, it was fully built out of the box. The model shows the famous "Ding Hao" aircraft piloted by American ace James Howard.
