Macchi C.205 Veltro - Italeri

The box states Italeri, but the sprues are Hasegawa. Inside of it you will find a typical Hasegawa kit of the 90ies: An easy and enjoyable build with no major issues, upgraded by a beautiful "Super Decal sheet" that will provide you with an accurate full set of smoke rings as a very welcome addition - hence the best of two worlds. The basic kit lacks some details in the usual areas, so I added some PE into the cockpit, a full resin wheel bay and exhausts looted from a Bf 109G, with which the Veltro shared the same engine.

I am pretty happy with the final result, as Italian camouflage patterns can be quite challenging.
