The Monogram Typhoon is a vintage kit from 1968 featuring basic details and raised panel lines, but was high end at the time when it was initially released. The kit is accurate in shape & scale, and the control surfaces are thin enough. My intention was to use this kit as a test object for rescribing only, which I fully did. Moving further in the build, I wanted to add just some more details. I ended up packing it with aftermarket parts (Vacform canopy, wheels, exhausts, rockets) and kit-bashed it with a full cockpit from an Eduard Tempest. The entire paint job aside of the stencils was performed with Montex masks.
