Brewster F2A-2 Buffalo - Tamiya

This is the well-known Tamiya Kit from 1974. I like Yellow Wing schemes, so I built the scheme from the box. However, the decals had aged and were unusuable, but all what was needed was found in the dacal spare box.

I only added some cockpit PE parts from Eduard and a Vacform canopy. The antenna mast was cut off and placed on the port wing to conform to the Buffalos of VF 2. The lemon yellow tail indicates that this Buffalo was based aboard of USS Lexington.
